About the Client

Eircom are the largest telecommunications provider in Ireland with over one million customers. In 2010 eircom launched a new mobile phone offering under the brand eMobile in what was the biggest online execution of that year.

The Challenge

Webfactory were briefed with creating an easy to use, innovative ecommerce platform for the online eMobile channel to target existing eircom customers along with the wider mobile market.

Our Solution

Working closely with the eMobile project team for a 6 month review period, we concluded that simplicity and ease of use were absolutely critical to hitting the eircom strategic goals for conversions online.

To this end we created an intuitive site architecture to ensure users could understand where they were in the mobile switching and buying process at all times. User testing was key to removing any ambiguities or confusion with wording and layout.
